Check your understanding and find gaps
Submit your own explanation for constructive feedback, corrections and three questions that test the gaps.
What to provide
- Your explanation and the topic or source you are learning from.
Example Illustrative example
Input
Illustrative editorial example — not a recorded model test. Topic: the arithmetic mean. My explanation: To find the mean, add the values and divide by how many there are. The mean is always one of the original values.
Output
Correct: adding the values and dividing by their count gives the arithmetic mean. Mistaken: the result need not appear in the original list; the mean of 2 and 4 is 3. Missing: the list must be non-empty for that calculation. 1. What is the mean of 3 and 7? 2. Why is a mean of 5 possible when neither observation is 5? 3. What happens if you try the same rule with no values?
Improve the result
- Review my answers to the three questions and explain only the parts I still misunderstand.
How to use this prompt
Write your explanation before requesting feedback. An answer copied from a source gives the reviewer less evidence of what you actually understand.
What to check in the result
The reviewer can make mistakes or overlook an important gap. Compare corrections with a reliable source or teacher when accuracy matters.
