Kiss on the cheek
Create a couple portrait for this idea: kiss on the cheek. Start with a permitted adult reference, then adapt the setting, lighting, framing and clothes.
Tools: An image editor supporting reference photographs and written editing instructions
What to provide
- One permitted reference image showing two consenting adults
Example Recorded test output
Input
Reference: the displayed original fictional adult couple. Exact tested default expansion: Edit the attached reference photograph of two consenting adult partners into one natural-looking couple portrait. Use the reference for both identities: preserve their facial features, skin tones, hair and apparent adult ages, with no face swapping or body reshaping. Action: One partner kisses the other's cheek while the receiving partner smiles; keep the mouth-to-cheek contact clear and the second face readable. Location: a quiet garden path. Lighting: soft morning light. Framing: close portrait. Wardrobe: keep the reference outfits: a muted terracotta sweater and navy trousers, and a slate-blue shirt and charcoal trousers. Use believable camera perspective, natural skin texture and relaxed expressions. Change the pose, scene and lighting only as required above. Keep exactly two adult partners, with coherent hands, separate limbs and clear facial outlines. Do not add text, logos or watermarks. Produce one still image, not a collage.
Output
One partner kisses the other's cheek while the receiving partner smiles toward the camera; the result chooses a seated garden pose.
Tool settings
One reference-based image edit with Codex built-in image_gen; transparent_background=false. Reference: 1536 x 1024 PNG. Observed output: 1536 x 1024 PNG. Framing was specified in text; no aspect ratio, seed, quality setting or exact model version was passed separately or exposed. Test timestamp: 2026-11-05T17:31:31.937Z.
Improve the result
- Keep both identities, the scene and crop unchanged. Correct only the visible hand anatomy.
- Keep everything else unchanged. Improve the exposure on both faces without changing skin tones.
Prepare the photo
Upload a photo you have permission to edit, with both adult partners clearly visible. Paste the complete expanded prompt; the slash label is only a name for this idea.
Make the pose readable
One partner kisses the other's cheek while the receiving partner smiles; keep the mouth-to-cheek contact clear and the second face readable.
Check the result
Compare both faces with the reference and inspect the contact points, hands and surroundings. Correct one observed problem at a time. Generated examples depict fictional people.
About this recorded example
One partner kisses the other's cheek while the receiving partner smiles toward the camera; the result chooses a seated garden pose.
The generator introduced a bench and a wider crop. The pose is not a literal continuation of the standing source photograph.
